Riley Krasnoff

Riley is all personality – having demonstrated a strong interest in Performing Arts from the age of 2 years old, she sang constantly and it seemed she could dance before she could walk. We are excited to have Riley return to Acting Up! This time as our teacher and after all her experience listed below, the students are in for a treat…
She has studied RAD Classical Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical, Tap, Acrobatics, Singing/Acting, Drama and Musical theatre across a period of fifteen years. She has sang as a Choir member spanning eight years and trained privately for three years in Contemporary voice, performing as a soloist and in duets. Riley holds a ‘Certificate IV in Dance’ qualification from Queensland National Ballet School, and trained with ‘Queensland Dance School of Excellence’ in partnership with her formal schooling schedule across 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020. She has enjoyed working with the ‘Varganova’ syllabus in most recent times, training ‘En Pointe’ and having exposure to ‘Martha Graham Modern’ training and ‘International Character’ work. She has worked through several ballet examinations across this time and reached ACB Level 6, the final level of the Russian ‘Vaganova’ inspired ballet syllabus. Riley has studied Drama and Acting technique and participated in many productions across her performance career to date. She has been a member of both an award-winning ‘Youth Theatre’ company and two significant award-winning competitive dance troupes. Riley successfully auditioned and appeared in ‘Creative Generations’ 2019 annual production event for Channel 10, and performed in 3 jazz dance pieces and placed front row for the musical theatre number for the televised event ‘to go to air’. Riley is enrolled in a two year part-time ‘Diploma of Musical Theatre’ program with RAW Dance Company. Riley has welcomed the invitation after successful audition to perform in ‘RB Corp’ Contemporary Dance Company’s public production ‘Shadow Works’ scheduled for 2022, and has recently qualified to perform her contemporary dance solo in the ‘International Dance Talent Competition Italy’ in July 2022.
