MONDAY
3:15-4:45pm Junior Performing Arts (Performance class) ages 5-11 Suncoast students collected afterschool by teachers
Want to experience all the aspects of performance? This quick paced class teaches performance confidence with students engaged in acting, movement, singing, choreography, Drama games, character work and dancing! A great place to start with heaps of public performance opportunities throughout the year: Happy Days Festival, King’s Carols, showcases and theatrical productions. These kids ooze confidence & cuteness in their performances.
TUESDAY
7:45-8:20am Gymnastics: Strength & Flexibility All ages (Suncoast Students only: before school)
Bounce out of bed and gain strength and flexibility in this 35 minute before school session. Students will improve their athleticism, strength and acrobatic skills and all before the bell! Run twice weekly, Tuesday and Thursday before school in the Primary Performing Arts room.
3:15-4pm BODS (Boys only Dance) All ages
Get your groove on and hip hop your way into the world of cool moves and athletic ability. This class is for boys of all ages who want to test their skills and improve their confidence on the dancefloor. Learn cool moves, improve ability to follow choreography and improve strength and flexibility.
4-6pm Senior Musical Theatre (Performance class) ages 12+(Grades 7-12)
Be part of our magical adventure in this musical production of A CHRISTMAS CAROL. Students are put through their paces with specialized vocal and physical training, choreography and acting training. Culminating in a series of major performances in Nov, students in this class also prepare performances for the Vocal Eisteddfod and live performances (King’s Carols/Festivals/Showcase) throughout the year.

WEDNESDAY
3:15-4pm Drama 101 ages 7-13 (Grades 2-8)
Want to experience the joy of acting? This quick paced class teaches confidence and teamwork, quick thinking skills, vocal projection and how to use our bodies. A fun, no pressure class for those wanting to try acting without the pressure of performance.
4-5:30pm Primary Acting 1 (Performance class) ages 7-12 (Grades 2-6)
Students learn ALL the aspects of performance: confidence, stagecraft, acting, singing, choreography, ensemble skills and theatre etiquette in this PERFORMANCE CLASS. Our 2026 production is a delightful musical HANSEL & GRETEL and will be performed at the Play Festival in August, followed by a season of shows at The Lind Theatre. Students also have the opportunity to perform at outside events: Happy Days Festival Woombye, King’s Carols Caloundra, Winter Showcase and alongside the senior students in the November production A CHRISTMAS CAROL as well as many more. A fast paced and exciting class for students who love to perform and are committed to the discipline required to put on a show.
THURSDAY

3:15-4pm Sing up! Sing Out! ages 7-18
Is there a future Hugh Jackman or Idina Menzel hidden inside? Students learn the vocal techniques, breath and singing training to unlock your voice’s power and expression. The focus is on singing with confidence and skill in a group situation, experimenting with harmony, duets and preparing students for solo work. Students in this class perform in Winter Showcase and compete in the Sunshine Coast Vocal Eisteddfod (optional). They also make music videos to improve confidence and fluency on film.
4-5:30pm Primary Acting 2 ages 7-12 (Grades 2-6)
Students learn the craft of acting: confidence, stagecraft, character work, acting, ensemble skills and theatre etiquette in this PERFORMANCE CLASS. Our 2025 production is the May Gibbs Australian classic SNUGGLEPOT & CUDDLEPIE, written specially to showcase young performers and will be performed at the Play Festival in August, followed by two shows at The Lind Theatre. Students also have the opportunity to perform at outside events (Charity events, and the Junior Drama Eisteddfod) as well as our Winter Showcase and in an item alongside the senior students in the November production A CHRISTMAS CAROL. A fast paced and exciting class for students who love to perform and are committed to the discipline required to put on a show.
4-6pm Senior Acting ages 12+
Senior Acting is about learning the craft: stage confidence, stagecraft (direction, technique, vocal projection), acting a role, script analysis, vocal skills, choreography, performance energy, physical training, teamwork, theatre etiquette and the joy of working as an ensemble to create the magic that is theatre.
Students in this class perform plays in August as part of the Sunshine Coast Play Festival, followed by a season of performances at The Lind Theatre. There are also opportunities to take part in the Winter Showcase and to compete in the Sunshine Coast Drama Eisteddfod. This class can be taken alone or with our SENIOR MUSICAL THEATRE CLASS.
