(A Midsummer Night's Dream)

The opportunity to delve deeper

A weekly workshop gives our senior students the opportunity to delve deeper into the craft of acting to create memorable performances. A combination of acting technique and character exercises coupled with theatre skills development and performance

Senior Acting takes students on a complex journey, culminating in a full-scale theatrical production.

In the weekly two hour workshop, students work on challenging, age-appropriate material.

Students experience the entire process from casting, rehearsals, character development, direction, costume fittings, publicity and performance, culminating in public performances in Terms 3.

Term 4 students participate in the Acting Up! 2022 major film project.

Students also compete in the Sunshine Coast Drama Eisteddfod.

Complete commitment is required for this class, including attendance at all rehearsals.

Certain Saturdays will be involved  (2-3 Saturday rehearsals).

Senior Acting is a class requiring a high level of focus, commitment and self-discipline in a fun environment.

Levies: Acting classes attract a costume levy

An Acting Up! T-shirt must be worn to class.
