Primary Acting is a full-scale theatrical production

Aladdin has many featured roles and a great ensemble cast to keep our young actors busy. This production is best for students in grades 3-7 but we happily accept children from 6 years old if they are mature enough with the focus necessary in a major production

A combination of theatre skills development and performance, Primary Acting is a full-scale theatrical production, culminating in several public performances. It takes students through the entire process from auditions, the rehearsal process, character development, direction, costume fittings, publicity and performance, culminating in public performances in Term 3.

Term 4 students participate in the Acting Up! 2022 major film project.

Students also compete at the Sunshine Coast Drama Eisteddfod.

Complete commitment is required for this class, including attendance at all rehearsals.

Certain Saturdays will be involved  (2-3 Saturday rehearsals).

Primary Acting is a class requiring a high level of focus, commitment and self-discipline in a fun environment.
